Come learn the basics of babysitting with Saunders County Extension & 4-H. Free to sign up for youth 11+ with active Ashland Public Library Card (no-shows will be charged $25). $25 charge for youth without an active, in-area Ashland Public Library Card. Cost covers snack and training materials.
Topics include:
- First aid and emergency preparedness
- Keeping children safe
- Playing/reading with children
- Bathing/diapering/feeding young children
- Rights, responsibilities and personal safety
- Babysitting as a business
